Summary\nThe hydraulic engineer is part of the team responsible for developing the design and launching the production of flow control and compact hydraulic systems: in particular, fluid power systems consisting of control units or power units, that can be equipped with custom manifolds, CETOP valves, cartridge valves and bankable valves.\nHe/she also carry out numerical simulation (0D fluid dynamic, CFD, FEM) to verify the design.\nHe/she must support the operations department in troubleshooting and assist in the maintenance of products in production, as well as support sales in identifying and developing the most appropriate solution based on the end customer's request.\nHe/she will be part of the engineering team that is responsible for the drawing check/approving and for the DFMEA.\nIn addition, he/she joins and supports an international team dedicated to the hydraulic development of complex electro-hydraulic mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulic transmission drive, hydraulic control on axles, etc.).\nMain Responsibilities\nAnalysis the input/customer specifications.\nEstimate the engineering design and testing (ED&T) costs of a project.\nCarry out technical feasibility studies and the final design of the units paying attention to the specifications and principles of design for costing, manufacturing and assembly.\nPerform numerical verification (0D, CFD, FEM) of the design\nFollow the preparation of the prototypes connected to their projects and define their validation.\nEvaluate the final product as a whole with reference to performance, quality and safety aspects.\nFollow the resolution of claims from the field and internal using the 8D method.\nGuarantee the correct execution and management of the documentation both for the production and for the customer.\nIdentify and propose solutions to solve problems.\nSupport the operation during the resolution of the issue related to engineering that rise in the day by day work\nAbility to generate innovative ideas to meet the market and OEM's requirements\nPrepare technical reports pertaining to the assigned project, identify and help manage risks and opportunities for the project.\nMain dynamic and fast growing company.\nEducation and Qualifications\nEducation: University bachelor degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics\nProfessional background:\n3-5 years experiences in similar role\nExperience in hydraulic design and development, from concept definition through testing / validation up to industrialization and production.\nExperience in design of electro-hydraulic\nExperience in desing hydraulics power units\nSkills\nHard skills:\nEssential:\nClear understanding of technical specifications, both mechanical and hydraulic to ensure engineering designs and deliverables comply with the technical requirements with a design to coast approach.\nKnowledge of 2D and 3D drawing.\nExpert on CAD Software design 3D, preferably Solidworks.\nKnowledge of simulation program\nMS office user.\nKnowledge of the 8d problem solving process.\nBasics of Project Management.\nUnderstanding of technical specifications electric/electronics.\nConsidered as a plus:\nSkilled in die-casting\nFluent in English\nStatistical Data analysis.\nKnowledge of Five whys root cause analysis.\nKnowledge of the Six Sigma and Red X problem solving process.\nSoft
