# Software Development Engineer in Test

Own end-to-end quality assurance for merchant products, from payment flows to merchant-facing apps, so that every release is reliable, secure, and compliant at high transaction volume. Lead test strategy and automation, and raise the quality maturity of the squad. You'll be working on Define and own the test strategy (functional, regression, integration, performance, and security) for merchant product. Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for API, mobile (Android/iOS), and web, integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Validate money-movement correctness, including transaction status, idempotency, refunds, settlement, and reconciliation, with a focus on edge cases like timeouts, retries, and partial failures. Run performance and load testing for peak-traffic scenarios such as campaigns, payday, and Ramadan, and partner with engineering on bottlenecks. Work with PM, engineering, and design from the requirement stage (shift-left) to define acceptance criteria and catch gaps before development starts.
