This role ensures timely preventive and corrective maintenance, supports production uptime, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor coordinates maintenance schedules, manages resources, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards to support optimal plant performance.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nCoordinates maintenance activities as directed by the manager. \nLead and schedule maintenance technicians, assign work orders, and ensure proper staffing to support production needs.\nMaintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by the PM program; testing systems and equipment, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty components and parts. \nAssist in all items associated with the quality, production, safety and DOS programs. \nManage skilled trades, and plant services of 100+ employees. \nMaintains high standards for housekeeping, safety, and general maintenance. \nMonitors employee attendance and assist in maintaining attendance records along with maintaining discipline within the departments. \nMaintain daily timekeeping, work orders, and all records in regards to the maintenance program. \nEnsure all equipment is in safe working order. \nMaintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with local and federal codes and regulations.\nEducation and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience\n3+ years of experience \nSkills\nProven ability to appropriately assess and manage risk factors. \nSelf-motivated, effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, along with good organizational skills. \nExperience in managing a maintenance department of several different trades groups. \nMust have the ability to work off shift and work overtime and weekends as required. \nAbility to travel for education, training, and maintenance department representation for DOS or sister plant workshops. \nMust have excellent attendance record. \nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Kanban. \nMust have the ability to lead projects. \nProficient in Microsoft Office. \nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.\nUnsolicited Resumes from Third-Party Recruiters\nPlease note that as per Dana policy, we do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters unless such recruiters were engaged to provide candidates for a specified opening.
