Serving two primary markets - passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nCoordinate and administer financial controls including profit planning, expense budgets, cash management, cost standards, savings opportunities and capital investing.\nPrepare Comerica collateral report and daily cash flow forecast.\nCompare financial performance with operating plans and standards. Provide reports and interpret the results of operations. Formulate accounting policies, systems and procedures. Prepare financial statements and operating data. Prepare special reports as required.\nAssure protection of the assts of the business through internal control and internal auditing. Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.\nProvide Mexico plant with related information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilities.\nDevelop and monitor key financial indicators and advise management regarding trends and variances to budget.\nAssure that duties, responsibilities and authority of each job supervised are clearly defined, effective and communicated to the incumbents. Assure that qualified personnel are selected and that on-the-job training programs are conducted and effective.\nEnsure compliance with all federal, state and local taxes.\nDetermine depreciation rates for financial and tax purposes.\nMonitor worker’s compensation reserves. \nManage property and casualty insurance issues and annual renewal.\nStreamline accounting processes and procedures.
