This role contributes to customer success by helping ensure optimal instrument performance, maximizing uptime, and supporting reliable diagnostic workflows that ultimately impact patient care.\nThis position is part of the Service Organization and will work remotely within the assigned territory. You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Regional Field Service Manager responsible for delivering industry-leading service that maximizes instrument availability, customer productivity, and operational performance.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\n\nSupport installation, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Leica Biosystems instruments to help ensure optimal instrument performance and customer uptime.\n\nAssist in delivering a high-quality customer experience through effective communication, timely follow-up, and adherence to Leica Biosystems quality and compliance standards.\n\nPartner with Field Service Engineers, technical support, applications, and commercial teams to resolve technical issues and support reliable diagnostic workflows. \n\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\n\n0-1 years of experience in a technical field; Associates Degree preferred.\n\nFoundational mechanical, electrical, electronic, laboratory, biomedical, or instrumentation troubleshooting capability. \n\nAbility to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams while learning to operate independently in a field-based service environment. \n\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\n\nThis position requires up to 90% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays. \n\nMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record \n\nAbility to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
