You’ll thrive in a culture of belonging where you and your unique viewpoint matter.\nLearn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.\nThe Security Operations Center Associate SOC Analyst (Tier 1) is responsible for monitoring, triaging, and escalating security events across a global enterprise environment.\nThis is an entry-level role focused on identifying potential threats, following established procedures, and supporting incident response activities in collaboration with senior analysts and specialized teams.\nYou will work closely with your shift lead and SOC leadership as part of the Danaher Threat Management Center.\nThis role operates on a 24/7 shift model (Panama schedule):\n12-hour shifts (2-2-3 rotation) \nRotating day and night shifts (monthly) \nIncludes weekends and holidays \nOperates on a hybrid work model (combining remote and office-based shifts)\nAs part of a large and established security organization, this position offers significant career growth for top performers, including opportunities to move into Incident Response, Cyber Engineering, and other cybersecurity disciplines.\nThis is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by our Cytiva operating company in Krakow, and is offered as an initial 18-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension based on business needs and individual performance.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nMonitor and triage security alerts (e.g., phishing, malware, endpoint, identity, network)\nPerform initial investigation and enrichment of alerts using available tools and playbooks\nEscalate incidents to higher Tiers following defined procedures\nDocument findings clearly and accurately in ticketing systems\nSupport incident response activities (e.g., containment actions under guidance)\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to document and continuously improve processes and procedures for handling escalations and investigations.\nSupport Incident Response activities, including containment and eradication, in coordination with relevant teams.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBasic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., phishing, malware, network threats)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.\nAbility to follow processes and work in a structured environment\nPreferred skills and experience:\nExperience working in a large, global, and complex enterprise environment.\nFamiliarity with following domains: endpoint, identity, email, cloud or network security\nHands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IPS, WAF, email security, cloud security, and/or threat intelligence platforms.\nPrior experience collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams in an operational setting (e.g., SOC, NOC, Incident Response, or Security Engineering).\nJoin our winning team today.
