Their duties include negotiating deals with suppliers and secure inventory level of current products. Buyer also perform market research, product tests and evaluations and analyze competitors to identify best sources for the company.\nThis position reports to the Manager, Purchasing and is part of the Purchasing team located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nManaging new vendor creation/set-up in ERP system (COUPA)\nCo-ordinate purchase requisition, purchase order creation and monitor approval flow\nOrder and secure materials for production - purchase according to production plan and forecast including monitor inventory level and provide forecasts to suppliers\nDelivery note checking against PO\nHandling of rejected materials to suppliers\nMaintain ERP system with purchase related data e.g. supplier information, lead times, ordering points, prices, invoice processing\nMonitoring supplier performance\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBachelor's degree in fields such as business or supply chain.\nExperience in manufacturing environment with relevant supply chain management, logistic qualification\nAbility to be a team member and effectively interface with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Research & Development.\nMust be a self-starter, a “hands-on” individual who enjoys a challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with minimal support and direction. \nSolid Excel skills are required as well as a high proficiency in standard job costing and variance analysis.\nExcellent attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects;\nMasimo, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
