This role contributes to the success of SCIEX’s accurate mass product portfolio and partners with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver pre-sales support, customer presentations, and technical expertise\nThis position reports to the Sr Manager, Application Support and is part of the North America Applications team located in Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO and will be an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nPrepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows. Provide on-site training for customers on SCIEX hardware and software platforms and offer ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and product efficiency.\nWork with business and sales units to pinpoint areas needing growth, identifying key application areas.\nInvestigate and develop comprehensive solutions (including sample preparation, analytical methods, and reporting) for internal use or customer deployment and collaborate with colleagues in different regions to develop a full suite of application solutions.\nAssist in defining and developing new hardware and software products, thoroughly test these new products within both the nominal and accurate mass product portfolio.\nParticipate in scientific conferences, seminars, and training programs to stay updated and contribute to the scientific community.\nThe essential requirements of the job include\n Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related life sciences field\n2+ Experience with mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography (LC-MS), and other analytical techniques with strong understanding of method development, validation, and troubleshooting for LC-MS/MS methods\nAbility to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences and build strong relationships with customers and internally within SCIEX\nProven capacity to troubleshoot instrumentation and application-related issues\nExperienced with small molecule quantitation on triple quadrupoles\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role\nThe job function includes up to 50% of travel in North America if based local to the demo sites in Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO.\nPossess a current driver license with an acceptable driving record.\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nUsing SCIEX instrumentation and software\nKnowledge of clinical market trends, assays, and laboratory workflows and Prior experience working in a University Core Facility\nExperience in training and supporting customers on instrumentation and software\nSCIEX, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
