You will identify and act upon opportunities for continuous improvement and better reliability through root cause analysis & other DBS tools. Connects with operations to ensure opportunity windows exist for planned repair work.\nThis position reports to the Manager of Chemical Process and Material Quality Control and is part of the Equipment Services team located in Morrisville, NC, and will be an on-site role. \nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nAs an Area Reliability Coordinator (ARC) you are the owner and planner for the equipment within your assigned value streams. You will identify and act upon opportunities for continuous improvement and better reliability through root cause analysis & other DBS tools. Connects with operations to ensure opportunity windows exist for planned repair work.\nWill play an active role in value stream DM meetings and selected ES meetings. Participate in project design reviews to ensure the serviceability of new and existing equipment. evaluate the impact of equipment downtime, maintenance backlog, and parts availability concerns; proactively problem-solve and communicate risks and solutions to internal and cross-functional stakeholders. \nExecute and coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules, standard work, operating procedures, and quality system, ERP, and CMMS requirements.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nHigh school diploma or GED with at least 2+ years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience, preferably at IDT\nWorking knowledge of electrical, controls, pneumatics, mechanical, fluidics, and optical devices\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nBe able to lift or carry 25-50 lbs. frequently\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nWorking proficiency in decision making skills; capable of using experience and judgment to perform tasks & repairs when instructions are not available.\nDemonstrates ability to learn, deploy, & document root cause analysis and investigations related to equipment breakdowns.\nIDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
