Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.\nLearn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.\nThe Design Engineer II is responsible for preparing drawings and schematics for engineering projects, working closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies, or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs, which require a high degree of precision using specialized equipment/tools.\nThis position is part of the Custom Engineering organization located in Pune and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.\nWhat will you do:\nCreate 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for bioprocess equipment (e.g., skids, pressure vessels, piping assemblies).\nDevelop P&IDs, GA drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent).\nEnsure designs meet ASME, BPE, and GMP standards.\nSupport design optimization for cost, quality, and lead-time improvements.\nWork closely with process engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.\nWho are you:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.\nExperience in equipment design for bioprocess, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage industries.\nProficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).\nKnowledge of ASME BPE, GMP, and hygienic design standards.\nFamiliarity with pressure vessel design codes and piping standards. Pressure vessel calculations and design as per ASME standards\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nExperience with orbital welding and sanitary tubing design.\nUnderstanding of automation interfaces and skid integration.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\nJoin our winning team today.
