This role contributes to the development of scalable, secure, and reliable applications and services that enable data connectivity, visualization, analytics, and user interaction across web, mobile, enterprise, and medical device environments.\nThe position reports to the Sr Manager, Cloud & Web Systems Software and is part of the Software Engineering department located in Irvine, CA and will be an on-site role.\nIn This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native and web-based software applications, services, APIs, and system integrations.\nContribute to scalable backend architectures and modern web application development supporting connected medical technologies and enterprise platforms.\nDevelop and maintain software using modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies such as Java, Python, AWS, Azure, Spring Boot, Oracle Cloud, or equivalent technologies.\nParticipate in frontend and backend development activities, including UI implementation, database integration, and service-layer development.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with project managers, systems engineers, product development teams, and external partners to support project execution and product delivery.\nThe Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:\nB.S. Degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n3+ years of experience software engineering experience in cloud, web, backend, full-stack, or distributed systems development.\nExperience developing software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or similar technologies.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nUnderstanding of web services, APIs, microservices, and distributed system architectures.\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nExperience developing software within regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity best practices, secure software development, authentication/authorization protocols, and data privacy principles.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.\nExperience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.\nMasimo, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
