Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.\nLearn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.\nThe Production Engineer is responsible for leading engineering projects and project activities that enhance manufacturing capabilities.\nThis position reports to the Process Engineering Manager and is located in Ilfracombe, and it will be an on-site role.\nWhat you will do:\nLead engineering projects and technical improvement activities that enhance manufacturing capabilities through process reliability improvement initiatives following process qualification such as IQOQPQ validation methods.\n\nProvide ownership and input into structured problem solving activities within established project engineering team.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering/Product Engineering and Quality.\n\nResearch and learn processes, tools and technologies to deliver engineering project objectives.\n\nWho you are:\nProven experience working within an engineering project environment and demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques.\n\nProactive and enthusiastic in applying structured problem solving tools (DMAIC, PSP etc) to translate complex technical problems into actionable plans.\n\nGood communication skills to clearly articulate technical and project problems, providing clear updates to key stakeholders.\n\nPrior work within regulated environment (i.e GMP) and of owning change control activity including process risk assessment (dFMEA/pFMEA or other tool)\n\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nExpertise in a technical discipline within engineering (e.g fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, polymer science)\n\nDesign for manufacture and CAD.\n\nLean principles, Waste reduction, efficiency improvements, process flow, etc\n\nFormal technical qualification in Mechanical/ProductionEngineering\n\nPlease note: Production Engineer is the external job title used for advertising, should you be successful, your internal and official job title will be Process Engineer\nJoin our winning team today.
