The Senior Production Associate is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, assembling products, monitoring production processes, and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
This position reports to the Production Team Leader / Production Supervisor and is part of the Pall Singapore Production Operations Team located in Benoi Sector, Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Carry out production activities which adhere to compliance, safety, quality, 5S methodology and operational procedures.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and processes at the required specifications and ensure all materials are readily available.
- Work in a team environment and liaise with cross-functional teams as required on day-to-day operations which include preliminary troubleshooting of machines or equipment, deliver on-the-job-training to new hires and other appropriate duties as assigned. Develop and revise SOP and work instructions in collaboration with cross functional teams as required; Support improvement efforts and assigned projects
The essential requirements of the job include:
- NITEC graduates with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience or Diploma graduate with at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience are preferred; Secondary educated graduates with at least 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience will also be considered
- To meet daily production output, escalate line issues and quality.
- Flexible working in rotating shift. Occasional lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20kg in white room area
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with Microsoft software and SAP/other ERP experience (specifically in manufacturing environment or cleanroom environment)
- Basic knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations
