This role contributes to the delivery of stable and scalable infrastructure services while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.\nThis position reports to the Senior Manager, Cloud and Infrastructure and is part of the IT organization located in Concord, Ontario and will be an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nSupport daily operations of Windows and Linux server environments across cloud and on-premise platforms.\n\nTroubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and partner with internal teams or vendors to resolve incidents on-premises.\n\nContribute to automation and configuration management efforts to improve operational efficiency.\n\nExecute system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.\n\nCollaborate with compliance, security, and application teams to support enterprise initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.\n\nThe essential requirements of the job include\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field\n\nMultiple years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration roles\n\nExperience managing Windows and Linux server environments in an enterprise setting\n\nCertification with Azure or analogous cloud technology\n\nStrong fundamental knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Python, and YAML)\n\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in\nScripting or automation using tools such as PowerApps, LogicApps, or Ansible\n\nSupporting infrastructure in environments with defined security and compliance requirements (e.g. SOX)\n\nExposure to cloud cost management or optimization practices\n\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical Requirements:\nThis role does not require regular travel\n\nNo specific motor vehicle or physical requirements apply\n\nSCIEX, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
