Working together, let’s put our time and talents together to advance human health for tomorrow.\nLearn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.\nThe Distribution Tech is responsiblefor:\nPick, pack and shipping of customer orders.\nOperation of Powered Industrial Equipment to pick and put-away parts.\nOther duties relating to distribution of product including reading and picking orders based on a picklist, use of RF Devices and computers and attention to detail relating to picking of serial and lot numbers, and consolidation of large orders.\nThis position reports to the Shipping Supervisor and is part of the Operations team located in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nOperate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns to safely load and unload trailers or move stock. \nPrepare bills of lading, verify receipts, pick, pack, weigh, and stage customer orders to meet daily productivity standards.\nTrack, and replenish stock items, update warehouse management systems (Oracle), and manage inventory.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nHigh School/GED Equivalency and 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience.\nOracle, RF scanning device, and forklift experience preferred.\nStrong communication, time management and organizational skills.\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nMust be able to lift 45 lbs. without mechanical/lift assist and able to work within a team environment.\nBasic computer and inventory tracking skills.\n It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nUsing machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks.\nTracking stock via barcode scanners, RF devices.\nUnderstanding workplace safety protocols.\nBeckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
