Together, we bring MORE change to the world.\nLearn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible. \nThe Field Application Engineer (FAE) is a field-based expert responsible for delivering exceptional mainly post-sale support to customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively. In this role, the FAE oversees the successful installation, adoption, and optimization of Cepheid’s GeneXpert systems within clinical laboratories across the region. By partnering closely with all customers in the region, the FAE maximizes system uptime, drives adoption, and enhances the commercial value of GeneXpert systems and assays.\nThis position reports to the Customer Care Manager in Spain, it requires remote work and travel to cover North of Spain Territory.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nConduct pre-installation site assessments, install instruments, configure software and connectivity, and provide ongoing support to customers during the evaluation stage. Continue to assist after product launch and on assay conversion, assay trainings, implement any necessary hardware or software updates, including connectivity enhancements.\nMonitor sites and deliver training on system operation, software, reagents and connectivity.\nCarry out reactive repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, deinstallations, and relocations in a timely, productive, and cost-effective manner. Interpret customers’ needs and take responsibility for resolving issues, coordinating with other functions and liaising with the customer on both administrative and technical matters. Manage spare parts, including stock levels and inventory for car stock and other required components.\nThe essential requirement of the Job Include:\nDiploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Biology, Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Diagnostic industry an advantage\n2-3 years’ experience in health care / biomedical /handling Medical Devices or experience working with laboratory customers in the region and knowledge of diagnostic market\nFluent in the local language of the region, with a strong command of English.
