Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.\nLearn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.\nThe Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Field Scientist for Cytiva is responsible for providing technical pre- and post-sales support for the integration of Cytiva filtration technologies into customer processes in collaboration with the commercial team and R&D.\nThis position is part of the EU Filtration Customer Success (FCS) team and will be fully remote preferably Madrid.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nApply Cytiva Bioprocess filtration products (normal flow filtration and tangential flow filtration) to create innovative process solutions.\nConduct feasibility assessments, technical consultations, customer training, and bench-scale trials.\nMaintain close customer engagement throughout projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.\nTravel to customer sites for technical meetings, test work execution, technical presentations, and project reviews.\nProvide technical consultation involving scale-up and scale-down studies, testing plans, data analysis, process sizing and compatibility recommendations, troubleshooting, and field investigations.\nThe essential requirements of the job include: \nEducation Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering field.\nExperience 3+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry within MSAT, Process Development, Manufacturing, or a related technical function.\nCustomer Support Experience Experience providing technical support and working directly with customers.\nSpanish Language Fluent Spanish (written and spoken).\nEnglish Language Business-level English (written and spoken). \nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nKnowledge of the regulatory framework for drug manufacturing and biopharmaceutical production.\nKnowledge of purification and filtration techniques used in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing.\nProficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, or another European language) \nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nAbility to travel up to 50% of the time to support customers across Europe, with a particular focus on Spanish-speaking territories and other key European markets.\nCytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
