Collaborating with both regional and global stakeholders it is imperative that the candidate be a superb communicator, meticulous project planner, strong negotiator, and strategic thinker to be able to connect the impact of events back to the business strategy.\nThis position reports to the Director of Global Events and is part of the Marketing Team and is fully remote. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nLead end-to-end planning and execution of global events, overseeing logistics, operations, vendor management, budgeting, and onsite delivery to ensure exceptional attendee experiences and flawless event execution.\nDevelop and execute integrated event marketing strategies that drive awareness, registration, engagement, and post-event impact, working closely with marketing teams to maximize reach and business outcomes.\nPartner cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, and regional teams to align event objectives with business priorities, ensuring seamless collaboration and measurable commercial results.\nChampion brand consistency and customer affinity by creating experiences that authentically reflect the company's brand, values, and messaging while strengthening customer loyalty and engagement.\nServe as the voice of the customer within event strategy, leveraging customer insights, feedback, and market trends to design programs that address key challenges, facilitate meaningful scientific and technical conversations, and deliver value to target audiences.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBachelor’s degree, University degree in marketing, business, or communications (or related fields).\nExperience in project & budget management.\nExperience in Biotech, specializing in events.\nKnowledge of latest technology in events automation and customer experience.\nKnowledge in analytics and ROI reporting capabilities\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nAbility to travel - 25% travel both national and international\nMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.\nAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30 lbs.\nAt Abcam we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
