This role provides architecture leadership across applications, data, integration, cloud, and AI platforms, ensuring coherent, future-proof decisions across the enterprise. The Enterprise Architect acts as a strategic advisor to business and IT leaders, partners with Solution and Platform Architects, and serves as a key decision maker in architecture governance forums.\nThis position reports to VP, Business Transformation and IT and is part of the IT Organization located in Coralville, IA or Fargo, ND and will be on-site in either of these two locations.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nDefine and evolve enterprise architecture vision, principles, and target-state roadmaps across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on technology investments, modernization options, and trade-offs.\nProvide architectural leadership for major programs and platform decisions, ensuring alignment to business strategy, risk posture, and technology standards.\nEstablish and operate architecture governance (e.g., architecture review boards), including decision records, standards, reference architectures, and exceptions.\nPartner with business and IT leaders to translate strategic priorities into capability-based architectures and sequenced transformation plans.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify the technology landscape, reduce technical debt, and improve interoperability and operability.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience\n7+ Years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or platform strategy within complex enterprise environments.\nDemonstrated ability to create and govern standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps.\nExperience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional architectural decisions\nStrong communication skills, including ability to articulate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nAbility to travel up to 25% for stakeholder engagement and site/program support\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nEnterprise Architecture frameworks and modeling (TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML, capability and process modeling)\nExperience with large-scale modernization and cloud transformation programs and in regulated industries and designing controls for security, privacy, and compliance.\nExperience integrating enterprise platforms (ERP/CRM), digital channels, and data/analytics ecosystems.\nIDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
