The maintenance engineer will participate in all aspects of maintenance to ensure consistent uptime and world class reliability.\nThis position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is part of the maintenance department located in Muskegon, Michigan and will be an on-site role\nWhat you will do:\nDiagnose and lead repair efforts for mechanical, electrical, and software issues.\nDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans, monitor equipment performance, and lead improvement projects\nEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards\nDevelop and update spare parts inventory and procurement strategies\nCoordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs\nWho you are:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.\nCertifications in maintenance or related fields (e.g., Configuration and Maintenance Management (CMMS), Operational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)) preferred.\nExperience with maintenance software and diagnostic tools.\nAbility to read technical manuals and schematics.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nAbility to travel within the US and internationally, up to 10% of the time\nAbility to walk, stand, sit, and navigate around equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility \nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nVibration analysis and tribology\nOperating in facilities that operate under OSHA PSM\nFDA or other regulated industries\nCytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
