At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.\nYou will be a part of the Production Operations Team and report to the Manager, Manufacturing responsible for working to assemble scanners and related products. If you thrive in a multifunctional, fast paced role and want to work to build a world-class manufacturing organization-read on.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nFollow written procedures and perform all steps required to assemble Aperio Digital Pathology\nscanners and related products. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:\no Electro-mechanical assembly\no Routing of cable and harness assemblies\no Building of optical sub-assemblies\no Visual and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies.\no Installing software\nPerform basic troubleshooting\nIdentify proper focus of optical assemblies viewing through eyepiece or on computer monitor.\nComplete related paperwork\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent or in lieu of High School diploma, willing to accept 2+ years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment.\nBasic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Google docs).\nAbility to learn and understand technical information related to our products offered.\nAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lb\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\n1+ year’s assembly experience in electromechanical production environment, ideally in medical device.\nIdentifying product and process issues. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
