This individual partners closely with all relevant internal and external functions to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with business objectives.\nThis position reports to the Mechanical Hardware Design (MHD) Senior Manager within the R&D Department located in Concord, Ontario, Canada and will be an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nPartner with the MHD Senior Manager to allocate Mechanical Hardware Development resources across research, concept, development, production, and sustaining projects to optimize utilization.\nDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules, defining scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.\nTrack project execution against commitments using daily and visual management tools to ensure on-time delivery of key objectives.\nCoordinate cross-functional activities across engineering disciplines and supporting teams while facilitating design reviews and design transfer activities.\nDevelop and manage project budgets, monitor spending, and support effective project execution within financial targets.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years of project management experience in a product development environment.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional engineering projects and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.\nStrong understanding of mechanical product development processes and engineering workflows.\nExcellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency with project management tools, reporting systems, and project performance tracking.\nThe following would be preferable:\nPMP certification or equivalent project management training.\nFamiliarity with mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and supplier management.\nExperience supporting new product development and design-transfer activities.\nSCIEX, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
