This role applies engineering and analytical methodologies to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and operational performance across value streams and supporting functions. The Process Engineer II partners with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process improvements, solve operational challenges, and develop expertise in process engineering and Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.\nThis position reports to the Manager of Process Engineering, Facilities, and Lab Management, is part of the Process Engineering team located in Boulder, CO, and is an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nLead process improvement initiatives that improve operational performance, quality, capacity, and efficiency across value streams and supporting functions.\nIndependently manage investigations, problem-solving activities, and process changes that address operational challenges.\nAnalyze operational and process performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.\nLead automation, technology implementation, process validation, and new product introduction activities.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain engineering documentation, standard work, and process specifications.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, operational, or technical environment.\n2+ years of experience supporting or leading process improvement, engineering, automation, or operational excellence initiatives.\nExperience utilizing statistical analysis, engineering principles, Lean, DBS, Six Sigma, or other structured problem-solving methodologies to improve process performance.\nExperience leading projects, investigations, process changes, or continuous improvement initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders.\nExperience analyzing operational or process performance data and implementing improvements based on findings.\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nBiotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.\nAutomation, workflow optimization, process validation, equipment qualification, new product introduction (NPI), or implementation of operational technologies.\nLean, DBS, Six Sigma certification, Kaizen facilitation, or other continuous improvement leadership experience.\nIDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
