Working closely with teams across the business, the role encompasses a broad range of quality activities, including internal auditing, document control, training coordination, and the management of non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.\nThis position reports to the Regional Quality Assurance Manager and is part of the Quality Assurance department located in Cambridge, UK and will be an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nSupport the maintenance and continuous improvement of the site’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.\nCoordinate audits, non-conformance investigations, change controls, non-conformance investigations, and corrective actions to drive quality and compliance.\nDeliver quality training and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality initiatives that enhance operational performance.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nA degree in biological sciences, or equivalent professional certification in quality management systems.\n2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Systems or regulated manufacturing/laboratory environment.\nA working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001, GMP or other relevant quality standards.\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nInternal auditor qualification and/or experience conducting quality audits.\nWorking with ERP systems, such as Oracle, and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).\nContinuous improvement experience, including exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.\nAbcam, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
