You will work from early phase (definition of specs) of the initiative through design, testing and validation with the Product Manager and the R&D Engineers and finally transfer into manufacturing in alignment with Manufacturing Engineers and Supply Chain.\nThis position reports to the and is part of located in and will be an on-site role.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop and manage project plans, including defining roles and responsibilities, and overseeing resource allocation and risk management\nProvide technical leadership, confidently guiding teams through complex projects and engineering challenges\nApply a strong working knowledge of 3D CAD design to support and drive innovative product development activities\nEnsure clear, consistent communication, including reporting project progress and key updates to leadership teams\nDrive effective problem-solving while fostering strong team collaboration and cross-functional communication\nWho you are:\nBSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or a HND/HNC/apprenticeship\ncombined with significant direct work experience\nConsiderable work experience in an R&D environment\nExperienced in leading through project management and/or design roles\nGood understanding of 3D CAD design\nAble to manage own daily workload and accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role\nAbility to travel - up to 20% travel, overnight, across the world\nMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nAn R&D environment\nEngineering or technical leadership\nCytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
