In this capacity, the candidate will be part of high-performing, multi-disciplinary project teams participating in all phases of product development from concept to product launch. The individual will solve design problems through collaboration with multiple technical disciplines within the engineering and science community, while following established guidelines, procedures, and design practices.\nThe position reports to the System Engineering Manager and is part of the Product Development team locatedin Concord, Ontario. This is an on-site role.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nTranslate customer, business, marketing, and regulatory needs into defined system requirements and allocate requirements across subsystems.\nLead integration of complex analytical instrumentation across hardware, software, mechanical, and analytical disciplines.\nLead system-level risk management, FMEAs, and complex technical investigations, coordinating cross-functional teams through root-cause identification and resolution.\nDrive system readiness for Verification and Validation by monitoring technical maturity, reliability, cost, risks, and issues.\nMaintain required technical documentation and design history records while effectively communicating complex technical information across diverse audiences.\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nDegree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Analytical/Applied Chemistry, Analytical Instrumentation or a related technical discipline.\n7 or more years of experience in analytical system hardware, firmware, software, and/or applications development\nExperience working with ISO13845 QMS and/or ISO 14971\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nPractical experience with Mass spectrometer, GC/LC chromatography systems or similar.\nSCIEX, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
