In this role, you will partner closely with Account Managers and the broader Sales team to lead pre-sales activities, deliver impactful demonstrations, and progress opportunities through to successful outcomes.\nThis position reports to the Director, Solutions Consulting and is part of theglobalSolutions Consulting team. This is a field-based role, in which you are fully remote and customer facing.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nEffectively deliver value-based product demonstrations to customers in-person, remotely, and at conferences using engaging presentation skills.\nCreate demo video content in support of presales efforts.\nContribute to pre-sales actions (including demos, RFPs/ RFIs) on qualified opportunities in partnership with Account Managers and the Solutions Consulting Team.\nCollaborate with the Sales team to help qualify the customers’ needs, demonstrate direct value and drive the engagement through to a successful sale.\nInfluence and maintain commercial awareness and provide feedback to Product Managers and Marketing on IDBS’ customers, competitors and technology trends.\nProactively learn how to configure and demonstrate IDBS software and work within the solutions consulting team to review and improve our pre-sales materials.\nThe essential requirements include:\nDegree level qualification and/or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline (i.e., Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacology),\nDemonstrated experience both using and configuring scientific/ informatic software (i.e., LIMS, LES, ELN)\nEngaging presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer community including scientists, IT, Department Heads, Senior Management and Business Sponsors.\nAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects / customer activities simultaneously.\nBiotechnology, bioprocessing, bioanalysis, pharmaceutical, and/or early research environments, with 2-5+ years of hands-on application experience within biopharma organizations\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nWillingness and ready to travel both domestically and internationally to customer sites on short notice (minimum 25%).\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nTechnical sales/ Consulting/ Sales Engineering supporting enterprise level customers in Life sciences\nConfiguring software and/or using IDBS (or similar) products, including Lab Automation, SaaS, Cloud-based applications\nPartnering with sales on account planning and execution to support deal progression\nFluency in any of the following languages: German, Dutch, French, Korean\nAt IDBS we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
