This role blends strategic sales expertise with a genuine passion for dance and community engagement. The ideal candidate thrives on connection, creativity, and purpose - turning opportunities into lasting partnerships that uplift and inspire.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute sales strategies that align with DanceOne’s goals for growth and brand impact.\n\nBuild, manage, and nurture relationships with studio owners, educators, and partners to expand participation.\n\nIdentify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets within the dance and performing arts industries.\n\nRepresent DanceOne at conventions, events, and trade shows - promoting programs and engaging directly with the community.\n\nCollaborate with marketing, operations, and events teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for clients and participants.\n\nMaintain and track a healthy sales pipeline, report on performance metrics, and forecast future growth opportunities.\n\nProvide valuable field insights to inform programming, messaging, and partnership initiatives.\n\nSupport client retention and loyalty through personalized communication and follow-up.\n\nEmbody and promote DanceOne’s core values - integrity, passion, creativity, and community - in every interaction.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nProven success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the performing arts, events, education industries or medical sales.\n\nStrong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nStrategic thinker with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.\n\nConfident and engaging public speaker, comfortable representing the brand at live events.\n\nTeam player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.\n\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.\n\nProficiency with CRM systems, sales tracking, and Google or Microsoft Office Suite tools.\n\nDeep appreciation for dance, the arts, and community development.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n\n3-5 years of experience in sales, partnership development, or account management.\n\nExperience in the dance, performing arts, or event industry strongly preferred.\n\nTravel required to conventions, events, and studio visits.
