You'll report to the Assistant Controller and join a focused team supporting two US manufacturing labs, a set of international entities and rising transaction volume. We are looking for a self-starter with an operational mindset who can navigate complex accounting transactions, and find solutions to new accounting scenarios as they arise.\nDandy runs on physical operations: labs, materials, equipment, shipping and people across several countries. Each of these flows into the general ledger. We want an accountant who understands how operations show up in the books and works with upstream teams to get the data right the first time.\nYour main areas: prepaid and accrued expenses, operating expense coding, intercompany and consolidation, general ledger maintenance and close procedures. You'll partner with Operations, Procurement, People and FP&A to find process gaps and close them.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn prepaid, accrued expense and opex schedules, including professional fees, software and contractor spend.\n\nPrepare and post journal entries for the monthly, quarterly and annual close, with clear support for estimates, allocations and accruals.\n\nBook intercompany entries and support consolidation across our US and international entities. Work with Tax on quarterly transfer pricing entries.\n\nReconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences before close.\n\nPrepare flux analysis and explain monthly results to the Assistant Controller and FP&A.\n\nTrace coding errors back to source systems such as payroll, purchasing and billing, and work with system owners to fix them upstream.\n\nDocument processes, accounting policies and controls to support our annual audit.\n\nPrepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests.\n\nAutomate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems.\n\nWhat We're Looking for\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.\n\n3+ years as a Senior Accountant, or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.\n\nExperience in an operational business: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics or multi-site operations.\n\nStrong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations and internal controls.\n\nAdvanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets.\n\nA track record of fixing root causes in upstream processes.\n\nClear, concise communication with accountants and non-accountants.\n\nStrong organization, attention to detail and follow-through on tight deadlines.\n\nCuriosity and a willingness to ask questions.\n\nBonus points\nInventory, cost or manufacturing accounting experience.\n\nMulti-entity and multi-currency accounting.\n\nNetSuite experience.\n\nPublic accounting or audit experience.\n\nCPA or CPA candidate.\n\nExperience with BI tools such as Looker.\n\nReq ID: J-1300\nFor full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate.
