This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate order processing, and exceptional service throughout the customer experience. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to build strong customer relationships, resolve issues effectively, and support customers through proactive communication and problem-solving.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate information via phone, email, and customer portals.\nManage customer orders from entry through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and on-time processing.\nCollaborate closely with Sales Account Managers, Plant Personnel, and Customer Service team members to support customer requirements and resolve issues.\nUtilize ERP, CRM, pricing systems, internal information portals, and EDI reporting tools to research customer inquiries and provide solutions.\nSupport customer escalations by partnering with management and internal stakeholders to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.\nAct as the voice of the customer by identifying concerns, researching solutions, and providing recommendations that improve the customer experience.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of 3 years of customer service experience.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience managing customer orders, inquiries, and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work onsite in Plymouth, MN or Van Wert, OH.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSome college coursework or associate degree.\nCustomer service experience within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with ERP or CRM systems.\nFamiliarity with SAP software.\nExperience supporting sales teams, manufacturing operations, or supply chain activities.\nJob Criteria\nStrong customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and processes simultaneously.\nStrong problem-solving and research skills.\nActive listening and relationship-building capabilities.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across departments and functions.\nSelf-motivated with a continuous learning mindset and commitment to professional development.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
