The cycle count clerk regularly counts subsets of inventory and compares the physical stock to system records to ensure data accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nCount Inventory: Conduct scheduled daily, weekly, or monthly physical counts of specific stock items, parts, or products.\nVerify clerical computations against physical stock counts and report errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.\nPrepare reports such as inventory balance and shortages. Actively participate in counts.\nConduct thorough investigations of inventory discrepancies and report findings to the Stockroom Supervisor.\nCollaborate with the Stockroom Supervisor to develop training programs for cycle counters\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems promptly; skillfully gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions; collaborates effectively in group problem-solving situations; applies reason even when addressing emotional topics.\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
