Your role will go beyond running tests - you’ll analyze what the data tells us, draw engineering conclusions and help continuously improve how we test.\nYour impact? From ensuring accurate measurements and developing new testing methods to improving laboratory automation and supporting new test rigs, you’ll help create a reliable testing environment that supports product development and better engineering decisions.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nIn this role, you will:\nPlan and perform laboratory testing of brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE) for refrigeration applications, including systems using natural refrigerants such as R290, following standard procedures or customer-specific test requirements\n\nAnalyze measurement data and turn results into engineering insights, preparing detailed technical reports, conclusions and recommendations for development teams\n\nEnsure high measurement quality and laboratory compliance by maintaining and calibrating equipment and working according to relevant standards and best practices, including AHRI, ISO, EN, ASME, PED and EHS requirements\n\nDevelop and improve testing capabilities by creating and updating SOPs, introducing new measurement methods and contributing to automation, higher test efficiency and improved measurement accuracy\n\nSupport the development and commissioning of new test rigs and collaborate with engineers and laboratory experts across international Danfoss locations on product development and testing projects\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nA Master’s degree in Thermal/Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical discipline\nPractical experience in energy or process engineering and laboratory testing, combined with a good understanding of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics and data acquisition systems (DAQ)\nStrong analytical and data skills - you can move beyond collecting measurements and turn raw test data into meaningful engineering conclusions and recommendations\nCuriosity and interest in test automation and data analysis; experience with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW or similar tools is highly valued, while experience with flammable refrigerants such as propane and ATEX requirements is an advantage\nA curious, reliable and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work in an international engineering environment and communicate confidently in English\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nHands-on engineering work with real products, advanced laboratory equipment and refrigeration technologies, including natural refrigerants\n\nThe opportunity to influence how we test - from improving existing methods and automation to contributing to new measurement capabilities and test rigs\n\nA role that combines thermodynamics, laboratory testing, data analysis and engineering problem-solving, giving you room to develop broad technical expertise\n\nCollaboration with international engineers and laboratory experts across Danfoss, with exposure to global development projects and different areas of expertise\n\nAn environment where curiosity and continuous improvement are encouraged, giving you space to experiment, learn and turn measurement data into solutions that make a real difference\n\nReady to Make a Difference?\nIf this role excites you, we’d love to hear from you!
