This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of materials and finished goods from receiving through shipment to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety, and customer responsiveness.\nSuccess in this role is measured by improved material flow, warehouse efficiency, launch readiness, and logistics performance.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDesign and improve warehouse layouts, material flow, storage strategies, kitting, receiving, shipping, and finished goods processes.\nAnalyze and improve inventory movement, storage utilization, replenishment methods, pick paths, and material handling efficiency.\nDevelop standard work, visual controls, process documentation, and warehouse flow solutions.\nSupport product launches and production ramp-ups through space planning, packaging validation, and line-side material presentation.\nPartner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant material flow processes.\nDrive lean logistics initiatives including FIFO, kanban, supermarkets, visual replenishment, and 5S improvements.\nUtilize ERP/MRP and warehouse data to identify inventory, transaction, and process improvement opportunities.\nTrain warehouse and production personnel on logistics processes, replenishment methods, and standard work.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience in warehouse operations, internal logistics, material flow, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with ERP/MRP or warehouse management systems (WMS).\nExperience with warehouse layout design, lean logistics, packaging, or distribution operations.\nExperience supporting product launches, production ramp-ups, or facility expansions.\nJob Criteria\nKnowledge of warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, inventory control, replenishment, packaging, and material flow principles.\nAbility to analyze logistics performance, space utilization, inventory accuracy, and process efficiency.\nExperience developing standard work, visual controls, and process improvements.\nUnderstanding of lean logistics concepts including FIFO, kanban, supermarkets, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
