The Impact You'll Make

As our Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering technical field support and reliable evidence collection for customer issues across installed products and systems. You will conduct onsite and remote investigations, perform authorized diagnostics and service activities, and provide objective technical reporting that supports effective claim handling, root-cause analysis, and customer recovery.

At Danfoss, we support your growth through learning opportunities, global collaboration, and meaningful work. You’ll be part of an inclusive environment where well-being, teamwork, and continuous development are valued every day.

Your impact? You will help strengthen customer confidence, reduce investigation time, and improve product reliability by delivering accurate field insights, professional technical support, and safe service execution. Your work will contribute directly to faster problem resolution, operational continuity, and continuous improvement across the business.

You’ll collaborate with Customer Claims Handling, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and customer teams, taking ownership of field investigations, technical diagnostics, evidence collection, and field reporting, helping us move toward a more customer-focused and operationally excellent future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct onsite and remote technical investigations by inspecting installations, operating conditions, interfaces, and product performance using approved diagnostic methods.
  • Perform authorized troubleshooting, testing, repair, adjustment, commissioning, and temporary restoration activities within established technical and safety guidelines.
  • Collect and document reliable field evidence including photographs, measurements, operating data, samples, and technical observations to support investigations and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Customer Claims Handling, and customer teams to support root-cause analysis, escalation management, and field validation activities.
  • Prepare timely and accurate technical field reports while maintaining compliance with safety requirements, documentation standards, and service procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Proven experience in field service, troubleshooting, application engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, commissioning, or industrial technical support environments.
  • Strong knowledge of technical diagnostics, evidence collection, root-cause analysis, field safety practices, and corrective-action methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, installation manuals, control logic, technical procedures, and diagnostic data across complex equipment and systems.
  • A mindset of customer focus, safety awareness, adaptability, technical curiosity, and collaboration across functions, sites, and cultures.

What You'll Get from Us

We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.

You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.

We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.

You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about-we think they’re pretty great.
