This role leads daily machining operations, ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources within a CNC manufacturing environment.\nThe person in this role will provide coaching, direction, and accountability to a team of machine operators and technicians while fostering a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. By developing talent, optimizing processes, and driving operational performance, the Machining Supervisor will help the organization achieve its business objectives and strategic goals and develop the process. This position reports directly to the IPC Operations Manager.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead daily machining operations to achieve production schedule goals while exceeding customer expectations.\nMonitor machine utilization, labor efficiency, production output, scrap rates, and workflow to ensure operational targets are met.\nPartner with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and implement sustainable solutions.\nDrive continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development.\nAssist in the selection, onboarding, and training of new employees and coach, mentor, and develop direct reports.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nMinimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.\nExperience working within production environment.\nMust be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supervising CNC machining operations, including lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining centers.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nComputer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems.\nExperience with SAP.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
