Working directly on the manufacturing floor, your insights and actions will help deliver products that support energy efficiency and sustainability for customers around the world.\nAs a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will identify, reduce, and control manufacturing product and process risks through data-driven analysis, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will help improve production performance, strengthen quality systems, and prevent issues before they impact our customers.\nThis is a fully onsite position in Tallahassee, Florida, where you will partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams. Your contributions will directly influence continuous improvement initiatives, operational excellence, and the long-term success of our flagship Turbocor business. The hours for second shift are between 3pm and midnight, Monday thru Friday.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAnalyze manufacturing performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that improve product quality and operational excellence.\nLead root cause investigations and corrective actions with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.\nDevelop and deliver quality metrics and KPI reporting that provide clear insights and support informed business decisions.\nDrive quality and compliance initiatives through audits, process reviews, and adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement by supporting quality training, sharing best practices, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related fieldAND\n\nMinimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, supplier quality, process engineering, or related areas\nTechnical Skills & Knowledge\nWorking knowledge and practical application of:\nPPAP (Production Part Approval Process)\nFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)\nExperience in high-volume or regulated manufacturing environments\nISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards\nCapability analysis and statistical methods\nRoot cause analysis and corrective action tools\n\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:\nExcel (data analysis and reporting)\nPowerPoint (presentations)\nWord, Access, Visio (documentation and process mapping)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nSix Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)\nLean and/or Six Sigma methodologies\nGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)\nFamiliarity with ERP/MES systems and quality management systems (QMS)\nExperience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
