Danfoss is a Danish engineering group headquartered in Nordborg that makes mechanical and electronic components for climate solutions, power solutions and drives, including valves, compressors, heat exchangers, hydraulics and frequency converters. Founded in 1933 by Mads Clausen and still family-owned, it runs factories and engineering sites across Europe, the Americas and Asia, with large teams in Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Mexico, India, China and Slovenia. Its careers board lists quality, test and application engineers, production operators and assemblers, project and sales engineers, and student workers.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring customer demand is translated into efficient and reliable production plans. Your work will help deliver products on time while balancing capacity, inventory, quality, and operational performance.

You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, logistics, customer service, and supply chain teams to create a smooth flow of materials and finished goods across the business. By anticipating risks and resolving planning challenges, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

This is an opportunity to make a visible impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment while developing your expertise in production planning, supply chain coordination, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain production plans to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity and inventory availability.
  • Coordinate material, production, and logistics flows to ensure on-time delivery and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
  • Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess capacity constraints, prioritize workloads, and support operational decision-making.
  • Participate in SIOP activities and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning processes and supply chain performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Adapted from the logistics education requirement in the role profile.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, or a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional English communication skills (minimum B2 level) with the ability to work across functions and stakeholders. Fluency in French is a must.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze demand and capacity, solve problems proactively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about-we think they’re pretty great.
