This role is responsible for providing product engineering support for existing Aeroquip Fluid Conveyance Products. This position requires a depth of experience such that individual knowledge and training can be coupled with broad industry-wide contacts and experiences to creatively and quickly resolve critical business issues and opportunities. The Principal Product Engineer serves as a recognized technical authority across the corporation, leveraging expertise, innovation, and applied research to identify technology needs, develop novel solutions, and influence future product and technology direction.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.\nIdentify technology needs and combine multi-disciplinary principles to create novel solutions\nCreate and optimize new products and processes while integrating and implementing them across multiple sites\nDevelop innovative or disruptive technology\nEstablish enterprise level technology roadmaps\nLeverages broad industry wide contacts and experiences to creatively and quickly resolve critical business issues and opportunities.\nPossess a broad strategic vision of the company’s future products and services\nExpert in designing products, developing test plans, analyzing test data against performance criteria, writing conclusive reports, and acting as technical and/or project leader between all functions of the organization\nUp to 10% domestic and international travel may be required to support project activities\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired (basic) qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials or other Engineering from an accredited institution\nLegally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship\nMust be within 50 miles of the Van Wert, OH or Maumee, OH facility.
