You will help ensure that products are designed correctly from the start, meet applicable legislations, directives, and standards, and are supported by robust and defendable documentation.\nYou will be part of a great team of other compliance engineers where we believe in cooperation and an openminded work environment and support each other constructively.\nSuccess in this role requires balancing technical, commercial, and regulatory considerations while making informed decisions that protect both our customers and our business.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nYou will act as the link between product development teams and global regulatory requirements, helping drive compliance throughout the product lifecycle by:\nGuiding development teams on compliance requirements related to electrical safety, regulatory standards, and global market access.\nEnsuring drives and power electronic products meet relevant laws, directives, and standards such as CE, UL, and IEC 61800-5-1.\nReviewing designs, requirements, test results, and technical documentation to identify compliance risks and drive timely corrective actions.\nSupporting compliance assessments and maintaining complete, accurate, and defendable documentation to ensure product can be sold, maintained, and supported globally.\nCollaborating with engineering, test, quality, and product management teams to balance technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or another relevant technical education within electronics, combined with practical experience working with electronics or electrical products or,.\nExperience with product compliance gained through Product Development, Product Testing, or a similar technical environment, with a strong understanding of how compliance enables safe and successful products in global markets.\nSolid analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, navigate uncertainty, and make informed engineering decisions based on incomplete information.\nClear communicator who can translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for both engineering teams and management stakeholders. \nHigh integrity and strong risk awareness, with the confidence to challenge decisions, raise compliance concerns, and make objective recommendations, even late in the development lifecycle.\nYou see compliance as more than a requirement. You understand the purpose behind regulations and are passionate about ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant products.\nWe see value in different compliance backgrounds. Experience with Variable Speed Drives, power electronic products, or electrical safety compliance is considered an advantage.
