The POT performs a variety of manufacturing tasks that generally include assembling, operating equipment, setting up machines, testing, and dismantling unit assemblies and complex subassembly workstations according to standard work instructions.\nThis is a 3rd Shift position, with work hours from Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nMonitor production lines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any issues or malfunctions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve equipment and machinery problems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.\nConduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to ensure proper operation.\nCollaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows.\nPerform quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.\nDocument and report any production issues, equipment failures, or quality concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.\nFollow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.\nAssist in training new production operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance, to resolve production-related issues.\nRotate among all stations within each assembly cell performing repetitive work at a consistent pace to meet customer demands.\nWork overtime as needed to\nOther duties as assigned.\nAdditional Requirements and Skills:\nAttendance: Rarely absent or late, pre-schedules and pre-approves absences.\nSafety: Follows safety & housekeeping standards and procedures, uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), looks after the safety of others.\nQuality: Follows standard work procedures, self acknowledges and corrects mistakes, works to avoid errors and get it right the first time.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience in a manufacturing environment\nTechnical or vocational training/certification\nPhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nWhile performing the duties of this job the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee has the potential to be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is at a level the company recommends hearing protection.
