The ideal candidate will have a global mindset and excellent communication skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization. This role will communicate cross-functionally with suppliers, vendors, the supply chain, business unit, and operations. This is an onsite role that will report to the Director of Procurement.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAct as a procurement representative in meetings, key projects, performance improvement and change management\nLead and manage projects to generate cost savings\nCoordinate and participate in new product development projects assuring early involvement of our suppliers\nBuild relationships with internal key stake holders to establish best sourcing solutions at both the regional and global level.\nPrepare and run ideation workshop with suppliers and internally to build a pipeline of cost savings\nParticipating in re-design projects and ensure implementation according to IATF 16949 requirements (Change Control, PPAP, etc.)\nIdentifying, visualizing, and mitigating potential risks\nWorking closely with global category managers and project managers to initiate, design and execute projects while meeting quality and cost goals.\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, supply chain, or other relevant area.\nMinimum of 5 years in procurement / sourcing experience\nExperience demonstrating a solid track record of meeting aggressive objectives.\nAbility to work effectively in a high quality, deadline driven environment.\nBroad knowledge of the procurement function as well as a high degree of knowledge of cost drivers, market dynamics, and supplier relationships in driving cost reductions.\nExperience with Strategic Sourcing of Castings & Machining, aluminum and Turned parts categories\nExperience in Negotiation, Supplier Evaluation, Commercial Contract Understanding, Risk Mitigation, Commodity Market\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.\nGlobal mindset and excellent communication skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization.\nGood time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively in developing effective systems and processes.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
