Project Sales Engineer

The Impact You'll Make

As our new Project Sales Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in growing Danfoss Climate Solutions' presence within the HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS) market. By engaging with consultants, designers, and installers, you will influence project specifications from the earliest stages and help ensure Danfoss solutions are selected and implemented successfully.

You will lead projects from specification through to project award, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and creating long-term business opportunities. Your ability to identify projects, develop a strong network, and convert opportunities into results will directly contribute to our growth and strengthen our position as a trusted partner in sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, designers, installers, and other key stakeholders across the HVAC and BMS industry.
• Influence project specifications by promoting and securing the inclusion of Danfoss solutions in new and existing projects.
• Identify, develop, and manage a healthy project pipeline to create sustainable business growth.
• Provide technical guidance, product recommendations, quotations, and training to customers and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Sales, Marketing, and other business units to deliver a seamless customer experience and maximize project success.
• Monitor market developments and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and strengthen Danfoss' market position.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in project sales within the HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), or a closely related industry.
• An established network within the HVAC, BMS, consulting, or installer community and the ability to build trusted customer relationships.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of developing opportunities and delivering results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in French, Dutch, and English.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Ability to explain technical solutions in a clear and customer-focused way, whether through discussions, presentations, or training sessions.
• A collaborative and entrepreneurial approach, with a willingness to take ownership, show initiative, and contribute to team success.
