From mechanical assemblies to instrumentation and testing setups, your expertise will help improve product performance, reliability, and quality.\nThis is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with their hands, and seeing the direct impact of their contributions throughout the product development lifecycle.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nBuild, assemble, modify, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical prototypes that support new product development and R&D initiatives.\nPartner with engineers to identify issues, validate designs, and contribute practical recommendations that improve product performance and manufacturability.\nPerform functional testing using tools such as multimeters, gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement equipment, documenting results and maintaining accurate records.\nSupport the setup, operation, and teardown of prototype and compressor test systems, including instrumentation such as thermocouples, pressure transducers, and vibration sensors.\nMaintain prototype shop equipment, support compliance with ISO 9001 maintenance processes, and help ensure a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training, certification, or an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or related technology is a plus.\nAt least 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, prototyping, fabrication, maintenance, troubleshooting, or R&D support.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and CAD-generated documentation.\nStrong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with maintenance management systems such as Maximo is beneficial.\nAbility to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, and working with prototype assemblies and shop equipment.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
