We are seeking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement and ensure product and process excellence through the implementation and oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS). This role provides essential support to manufacturing operations, leads problem-solving efforts, maintains certification standards, and serves as a key liaison for internal and external quality-related matters.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLeads root cause analysis and corrective actions for plant quality issues.\nFacilitate and coordinate 8D problem-solving teams.\nSupport and verify implementation of permanent corrective actions.\nIdentify and lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with plant objectives.\nInterface with customers to resolve concerns and manage returns, credits, and complaints.\nSupport new product launches by participating in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.\nPerform and document PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions.\nMaintain quality records and monitor critical process data collection.\nMaintain Control Plans and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).\nSupport ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications, audits, and document control.\nProvide training to employees on quality tools, procedures, and standards.\nMaintain calibration and preventive maintenance of laser measurement and lab equipment.\nCollaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams on quality-related projects.\nLead and support the application of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Danfoss Business System or similar).\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in engineering OR equivalent experience (for experienced professionals: 5+ years of quality engineering experience with 10+ years of manufacturing experience and active pursuit of an engineering degree).\nProficient knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (training available for new graduates).\nStrong understanding of quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, DOE, APQP, 8D.\nComputer literacy in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP).\nStrong working knowledge of Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and lean tools.\nExcellent problem-solving, project management, and technical reporting skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.\nComfortable communicating with all organizational levels and external stakeholders.\nAbility to prioritize in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.\nWillingness to engage in hands-on tasks, including inspection, rework, and audits.\nAbility to work in typical manufacturing environments (dust, noise, etc.)\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
