# Quality Inspector / 1st Shift

The Impact You'll Make The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspection at different stages of the production/assembly processes by utilizing gaging and measurement equipment. These observations may result in generation of non-conforming communications, documentation within established Quality records and the containment of that product. Support of process and product audits are also in scope within this position. This position reports to the associated Quality Manager. This is a 1st Shift position. What You’ll Be Doing Support inspections for incoming and in-process components and the maintenance of the associated records Utilization of gaging, tools and measuring equipment required for inspection support. Reading blueprint drawings and specifications to ensure that product meets the standards Lead the containment activities on line and support process of NCM. Perform audits of assmebly lines and machining areas ensuring that Standard Works are being followed Evaluation of nonconforming product/materials and identification of nonconformance in proper controlled area.
