This creates an exciting environment for someone who enjoys combining technical excellence with continuous improvement\nYour work will directly influence the quality, reliability, and performance of our products while helping shape both the future of embedded software development and the way engineering teams work across Danfoss.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nIn this dual-role position, you'll balance hands-on engineering with team leadership responsibilities, helping drive both technical excellence and effective collaboration\nDesign, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions in C and C++, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and performance\nLead the team's day-to-day activities, coordinating priorities, planning, and execution to support successful delivery\nCollaborate with hardware and software stakeholders to integrate, test, debug, and improve embedded solutions across the full development lifecycle\nDrive and continuously improve agile ways of working, helping the team stay focused, remove obstacles, and deliver value efficiently\nProvide technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, coaching, mentoring, and support for team development\nYou will work across the embedded software stack, from low-level drivers and platform components to application-layer functionality, helping create robust and scalable solutions for real-world applications\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Qualifications\nExtensive experience in embedded software development, with strong proficiency in C and practical experience using Python and shell scripting for testing, automation, and development tools\nExperience working with RTOS environments, embedded Linux, or other real-time systems\nSolid understanding of hardware-software integration, embedded debugging, and target-side testing\nExperience leading technical teams, projects, or development activities in an engineering environment\nStrong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:\nLow-level software development, including drivers, HAL layers, platform components, or system software\nMulti-core architectures, POSIX APIs, and resource-constrained embedded systems\nIndustrial or automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet\nAgile development methodologies, including Scrum and continuous improvement practices\nThese experiences can help you succeed in the role, but we recognize there are many paths to becoming a great Team Lead and embedded software engineer\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
