Your work will contribute to reliable manufacturing processes, high product quality, and the ongoing development of Danfoss' in-house tooling knowledge and standards.\nThis is an opportunity to join a collaborative international environment where you can work with advanced tooling technologies, share best practices across sites, and help strengthen our engineering capabilities for the future.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and develop forming tools and fixtures, supporting projects from initial requirements through release and production implementation\nUse forming simulation tools to evaluate and improve tooling concepts, helping to optimize manufacturability, quality, and process performance\nCollaborate with colleagues across sites to develop and maintain common design standards, methods, and lessons learned\nSupport tool tryouts, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities by analyzing results and helping identify practical solutions\nWork closely with engineering, production, quality, procurement, suppliers, and tool shops throughout tooling development, commissioning, maintenance, and improvement activities\nYou will also contribute to design reviews, supplier collaboration, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that help strengthen tooling expertise across the organization\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for a team-oriented engineer with a passion for tooling design, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement.\nYou will likely bring:\nA Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Engineering, or a related field\nExperience working with sheet metal forming tools, tooling design, or manufacturing processes\nKnowledge of CAD software such as NX, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms\nExperience with forming simulation tools such as Dynaform, AutoForm, PAM-STAMP, or equivalent software\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures\nExperience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, DFM, tool tryout activities, or supplier collaboration would be considered an advantage but is not required\nFluency in English and Slovene are required.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nYou'll help engineer a better future by contributing to solutions that make a real difference around the world.\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced tooling and forming technologies while collaborating with experienced colleagues across our global engineering network.
