This role involves defining scope, specification, and deliverables, maintaining schedules and budgets, and communicating effectively with internal customers and internal teams across Engineering, Operations, Environmental, Safety & Health, Maintenance, and Supply Chain Management. This role reports to the Engineering Manager.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDevelop clear project specifications and assemble RFQ packages\nDefine and document project scope and requirements from quotes, proposals, purchase orders, and internal requirements.\nServe as the primary point of contact for Engineering throughout the project.\nCoordinate and lead internal project kickoff meetings with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Maintenance.\nMaintain and update the MHP Engineering, 6 Gate - Capital Project Gated Check sheet to reflect scope, milestone, or schedule changes.\nManage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables through all phases.\nFacilitate technical reviews with internal customers and communicate project status clearly and regularly.\nMonitor scope, schedule, and budget changes; generate project updates and meeting minutes.\nTrack and review time charges and resolve discrepancies with supervisors.\nIdentify project delays and escalate concerns to department heads when necessary.\nRecommend improvements to enhance product quality and internal processes.\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering.\nMinimum of 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment, or 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience with a strong emphasis in implementing capital projects.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across all organizational levels.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering documents, drawings, and specifications.\nStrong analytical and reasoning skills, including basic technical math (geometry, trigonometry, algebra).\nProficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally as required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to write specifications for PLC and HMI applications; programming and interface experience a plus.\nExperience with 2-D and 3-D Design (AutoCAD, Solidworks, NX, ProE or others).\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and manufacturing processes.\nPMP certification or formal project management training.\nExperience implementing Kanban, shop floor inventory management, and product flow projects.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
