The technician works directly with operators, supervisors, quality personnel, and engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, improve processes, reduce waste, and ensure products are manufactured safely and consistently to engineering and customer requirements.\nThe ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working on the manufacturing floor, knowledgeable in CNC machining/programming, and able to use Lean manufacturing principles to drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\n This is a 1st Shift position.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nCNC Programming and Manufacturing Support\nDevelop, modify, test, and maintain CNC programs for production equipment.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, models, and manufacturing requirements.\nDetermine appropriate machining strategies, tooling, speeds, feeds, workholding, and process sequences, and support setup and prove-out of new and revised CNC programs on the manufacturing floor.\nTroubleshoot CNC machining and production issues involving tooling, programs, equipment, part quality, and process variation; optimize existing CNC programs to improve cycle time, tool life, quality, and process reliability.\nWork directly with operators to identify problems and implement sustainable solutions and assist with introduction of new products and transfer of products into production.\nRouter & Process Creation\nCreate and maintain manufacturing routers/routings that clearly define the required sequence of operations.\nEstablish appropriate manufacturing operations, work centers, setup requirements, inspection points, and standard work.\nReview existing routings for accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with actual manufacturing practices.\nCreate and maintain manufacturing work instructions, setup sheets, tooling lists, and other production documentation.\nIdentify gaps between documented processes and actual shop-floor practices and coordinate corrective actions.\nLean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in and lead Lean and continuous improvement activities focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.\nAnalyze cycle times, setup times, downtime, scrap, rework, and other manufacturing losses.\nDevelop and implement improvements that increase throughput and equipment utilization.\nSupport creation and improvement of standard work with manufacturing operators.\nParticipate in Kaizen events and improvement projects.\nManufacturing & Technical Support\nProvide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing personnel and assist with root-cause investigations related to scrap, rework, production delays, and quality issues.\nSupport corrective and preventive actions.\nAssist with tooling, fixture, gauge, and work holding improvements, and recommend improvements to equipment, tooling, layouts, and manufacturing methods.\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n Three (3) or more years CNC machining, CNC programming, manufacturing engineering technician or related manufacturing experience.\nDemonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.\nWorking knowledge of CNC machining processes, cutting tools, work holding, speeds, and feeds.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nComfortable working directly with CNC operators and production employees in a shop-floor environment.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience programming multiple CNC equipment types.\nKnowledge of G-code and M-code.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing routing structures.\nGD&T knowledge.\nExperience developing standard work and conducting time studies.\nExperience participating in or leading Kaizen events.\nExperience in a high-mix or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.\nYou’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
