This position plays a critical role in supporting the testing and validation of fluid conveyance products.\nThe Senior Test Technician is responsible for independently conducting hydraulic testing, troubleshooting laboratory equipment and control systems, collecting and documenting test data, and ensuring all testing activities are completed safely and accurately. This role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates with engineers to enhance laboratory capabilities and testing infrastructure.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPerform hydraulic and fluid conveyance product testing in accordance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and established laboratory procedures.\nSet up, operate, adjust, and maintain test equipment and apparatus to ensure accurate and repeatable test results.\nCollect, analyze, and document performance data, preparing Engineering Test Reports for internal and external customers.\nDiagnose and repair electrical, electro-mechanical, PLC, instrumentation, and control system issues, including sensors, actuators, motors, drives, and communication networks.\nSupport engineers in the design, construction, and implementation of upgrades to hydraulic test systems, electrical controls, and laboratory infrastructure.\nParticipate in continuous improvement, laboratory modernization, safety, and 6S initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n5-10 years of experience in a technical, industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, testing, maintenance, or related environment.\nExperience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions, engineering specifications, and testing procedures.\nAbility to lift up to 70 pounds.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate of Science degree or equivalent technical education from an accredited institution.\nExperience with hydraulic systems, fluid power systems, or hydraulic test equipment.\nKnowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation systems.\nExperience using LabVIEW, data acquisition software, or similar test platforms.\nKnowledge of NFPA 70E, electrical safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.\nExperience working within a testing laboratory or product validation environment.\nJob Criteria\nStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude.\nProven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments.\nCollaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset and strong commitment to safety.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\nAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
